Orlando vacation home communities: Bridgewater Crossing
Walking around Bridgewater Crossing you will see a number of ponds and small lakes and if you are lucky you may see a small basking alligator, raccoons or turtles. If you abide by the rules and don't get too close, don't try to feed them and don't disturb them, then you will be perfectly safe - after all the residents live with them year round!
Bridgewater Crossing is an older community with about half the homes being holiday homes and it does have community facilities.
Where is it?
Bridgewater Crossing is on The Ronald Reagan Parkway approximately 5 minutes drive from Exit 58 on Interstate 4.
Are there any community facilities?
Lots of facilities are on offer such as:communal pool, basketball hoop, volley ball court and tennis court. These all overlook a lake where you can picnic, BBQ or just sit and enjoy the tranquility.
How far is it from the Theme Parks?
Depending on the traffic Bridgewater Crossing is about 10 - 15 minutes from the Disney Parks as it takes less than five minutes to get to exit 58 of Interstate 4. Sea World and Universal Studios are about 20 - 25 minutes away.
Where are the nearest shops and restaurants?
The nearest supermarket and a handful of restaurants are at ChampionsGate which is exit 58 on Interstate 4. There is also a pharmacy, dry cleaners, hairdresser and off license. There are lots more restaurants on the 192 about 10 minutes down Old Lake Wilson Road. For the serious shopper there are various Malls within a 10-30 minutes drive.
